Overview: As a Desk Based Account Manager you will be responsible for managing a core set of our existing customers to ensure that they are satisfied, that we deliver on key success metrics for them and that, ultimately, we retain their business. As a key interface with our existing customers you will set the standards in customer service. To do this effectively you will need to liaise with other teams and senior stake holders to ensure any challenges are resolved quickly and efficiently without the need for customer involvement. There will be a requirement to perform administrative tasks to ensure the smooth implementation of new car park management schemes, as well as ongoing maintenance of existing systems to guarantee the delivery of a positive customer experience at all times. The best Desk Based Account Managers are quick on their feet and assertive yet tactful in dealing with customers. Time management, efficiency, the ability to meet deadlines and work with minimal supervision are all important. You will be the main point of contact for your customers and you will need to be able to cope under pressure, having multiple asks and customer queries to manage at any one time. Since you will communicate both in oral and written form, you should be a confident speaker with excellent written communication skills. Key Duties and Responsibilities: • To be accountable for a customer base of existing customers • To carry out proactive outbound management of your own customer base • To create value and build a strong relationship with your customer base • To proactively upskill and self-learn • To cross-sell and up-sell all Parkingeye products and services to your existing customers • Identify and escalate opportunities for new sites • Responsible for keeping attrition to a minimum • Re-sign customers to new contract • Work towards set targets, KPI's, goals and objectives • Collect Key Decision Maker contacts and contact details • Obtain additional information where possible to maximise customer contact details • Gain a detailed knowledge of the car park management system and understand how this product can be implemented to meet the requirements of the client • Complete administrative tasks in connection with site surveys, installs, signage, post installation changes, the setup of sites pre and post go live on the back-end system • To communicate with clients and colleagues via telephone and email regarding survey, installation, maintenance work schedules • Manage the expectations of clients; when disruptions/issues occur during the service delivery process, it is imperative to work quickly with internal department and the client to resolve the situation • Prepare and analyse reports for both senior management and clients • Successfully launch a new site with a client by ensuring tenants on site are trained on how to use the system, comms have been issued etc • Handle escalated client queries over permits, appeals, refunds by liaising with the relevant internal department • Liaise on a daily basis with your colleagues and update them on any developments in your work, ensuring a high level of team relationships exist Formal Qualifications and Experience required: • Minimum of 12 months - B2B Sales Experience • Excellent communications skills; verbal and written • Enthusiastic and willing to learn • The ability to work under pressure & multi-task • Excellent customer relations skills • Ability to manage workload • Strong organisational skills • Strong team worker • Computer literature • Willingness to assume responsibilities and take ownership of tasks • Experience in an administration support role Personal Attributes/Skills: • Customer service minded • Solutions oriented with good problem-solving skills • Professional approach • Results driven • Attention to detail • Proactive • Self-motivated • Hands on approach • Flexible approach • Ability to working towards strict deadlines • A friendly and personable person who will strive to be part of the company Additional information: NOTE: This Job Description is a guide only and is not exhaustive.
