We are looking for a motivated and experienced social care manager to join us as Branch Leader, overseeing our North Aberdeenshire services on a full-time, permanent basis based in our Peterhead hub.
Although based in Peterhead, travel to our services across North Aberdeenshire will be part of your role. Therefore, a full driving license and access to your own vehicle are essential. Travel expenses will be reimbursed according to Cornerstone’s expense policy, in line with HMRC legislation.
The Role
In collaboration with your team of Service Leads, Lead Practitioners, frontline colleagues, and with support from the Senior Leadership Team and Business Support Leads, you will play a key role in supporting the delivery and implementation of Cornerstone’s Strategic Plan.
Your main responsibility will be to provide effective leadership to your branch, ensuring it meets organisational Key Performance and Quality Indicators. You will be passionate about delivering excellent care, positioning us as the expert provider for those we support. You will also focus on maximizing local business development opportunities and fostering collaborative partnerships with HSCPs, housing associations, and other MDTs. Additionally, you will be the first point of contact for referrals and oversee tenancy-related matters where appropriate.

What we need you to bring:
* Experience in health & social care.
* Experience managing a local health & social care business, branch, or division.
* An understanding of empowerment and coaching versus traditional management and supervision.
* Knowledge of developing an empowered workforce.
* Strong business skills such as planning, tender writing, analysis, reporting, networking, and income generation.
* Experience attracting new customers, securing contracts, and successful bid-writing and presentations.
* Knowledge of the political and strategic environment related to social care.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Proven experience in financial management.
* Understanding of relevant statutory regulations and best practices.
* A full driving license and access to your own vehicle, as some services are remote.
Desirable qualifications:
* SVQ Level 8/9 in a relevant discipline or an equivalent management qualification.
