5 Axis CNC Machinist Location: AthertonSalary: £21.37 per hour + OvertimeJob Type: PermanentThe Role We're recruiting on behalf of a well-established precision engineering business in Atherton that specialises in the manufacture of large, complex machined components for demanding industrial sectors.Due to continued growth and a strong order book, they are looking to add an experienced 5 Axis CNC Machinist to their manufacturing team.This is an excellent opportunity to join a modern machining environment working on large-format components where quality and precision are paramount.Key Responsibilities Set, operate and edit programmes on large-format 5-axis CNC machining centresManufacture precision components from engineering drawings and specificationsMachine a variety of materials to tight tolerancesSelect and set tooling to achieve optimum performance and cycle timesConduct in-process inspection using standard measuring equipmentIdentify and resolve machining issues to maintain productivity and qualityWork closely with production and engineering teams to meet delivery targetsMaintain high standards of housekeeping and health & safetyWhat We're Looking For Proven experience setting and operating 5-axis CNC machining centresExperience machining large-format or heavy engineering componentsAbility to read and interpret complex engineering drawingsStrong understanding of tooling, feeds, speeds and machining strategiesExperience working to tight tolerances and demanding quality standardsSelf-motivated with a proactive approach to problem solvingAbility to work effectively both independently and as part of a teamDesirable Experience Heidenhain, Fanuc or Siemens controlsAerospace, defence, energy or heavy engineering backgroundsExperience with large structural or fabricated componentsWhat's On Offer £21.37 per hourOvertime available at enhanced ratesStable, long-term employmentModern manufacturing environmentOpportunity to work on large, technically challenging componentsSupportive and experienced engineering teamApply Now If you're an experienced 5 Axis CNC Machinist looking for a technically challenging role with excellent earning potential, we'd like to hear from you.INDWINOur clients and their customers come from diverse backgrounds and so do we.
