We are a family run business with a number of Nursing and Residential Care Homes that have been caring and nursing for people in Gloucestershire for over 30 years. Our philosophy is to provide warm, compassionate and friendly environments whilst aiming to enrich people's lives at a time when they thought that might not be easily achieved.

We are committed to providing the highest possible standards of person-care to our residents while ensuring their safety and promoting wellbeing. As we continue to succeed in our ambition, we are looking for carers to join our growing team at Parton House.

We are unable to support relocation or offer sponsorship for this post.

* Work on a rolling shift pattern including alternate weekend.

Responsibilities

* To carry out and undertake specific and general tasks ensuring the safety and wellbeing of our residents.

* To communicate effectively and professionally with residents, visitors and other healthcare professionals;
* To work as part of a team supporting others;
* To contribute and implement resident's individual and person-centred care plans;
* To work effectively within policies, procedures, aims, objectives and philosophy of the company.

Requirements

The ideal candidate for the role will be:

* Caring, compassionate, dedicated and enthusiastic;
* Eager to stay active and want to give back to the community;

* Effective in their communication and a strong team player.

We also seek someone with a "can-do" attitude displaying a sensitive, warm and approachable nature and while care experience is desirable it is not essential.
