Please note in regards to location this role is peripatetic to be based in South West or Central England. Frequent travel will be required across the area.
Working hours: Minimum of 35 hours per week

Support & lead the provision of business support, to an allocated portfolio of corps (churches) to ensure financial control and effective decision making. A large element of the role will be working with non-financial budget holders, providing training and assisting them with finance issues.
Key Responsibilities:
1. To support of corps officers, finance locals, corps in their financial activities
2. To lead in the admin & regular tasks within the team
3. To assist in the support of divisional leaders in their respective financial activities
4. To assist in monitoring corps budgets, investigate variances
5. To assist in monitoring performance of charity shops, cafes and similar activities of the corps
6. To support the wider finance team as required
Successful candidate will have:
7. Ability to travel flexibly as required
8. A minimum of two years’ experience in an accounting role using accounting systems
9. GCSE Maths at grade C or above; AAT or equivalent preferred
10. Good oral and written communication skills good organisational skills
11. Good team working skills
12. Good customer service skills
