The role We are working with an organisation in Swindon that is looking to add a Single Point of Access Practitioner to their team. This is a fixed term contract, expected to last 12 months. You will work directly with children, young people, and their families to provide guidance, education, and support in managing mental health challenges, ensuring all interventions are well-documented and outcome-focused. You will collaborate with schools, healthcare providers, social services, and community organisations to coordinate care and promote a holistic approach to wellbeing, while also advocating for children’s mental health needs and reducing stigma in the community. A key part of the role involves outreach to underserved groups, building partnerships with local networks, faith groups, and youth organisations to improve access, encourage early referrals, and strengthen preventative approaches. You will monitor local access metrics, respond to safeguarding concerns, and contribute to service improvements, while keeping up to date with best practice through training and supervision.
