MET Technician – Shrewsbury

Position
MET Technician required for Automotive Vehicle Accident Repair Centre with an eye for detail and passion for quality to join our team.
Typical Duties Of a MET Technician Include
* Diagnosing, repairing and maintaining vehicles in line with BS10125 & Manufacturers
* Dismantling vehicles to allow for repairs and rebuilding after paintwork
* Mechanical, Electrical, Trim and body work on allocated Jobs
* Panel replacement and re-alignment to manufacturer gapping and specification
* Vehicle diagnostics, fault clearing and fault finding
* Removing, refitting radiators and air conditioning repair and re-gas
* Suspension components replacement, repairs and wheel alignment
* ADAS calibration (training will be provided)
* Tyre fitting
* Road testing vehicle after repairs
* To identify additional repair work and liaise with the VDA
About You
* Communicate effectively with other team members
* Minimum 5 years’ experience or fully qualified MET Technician or NVQ Level 3
* ATA qualification would be beneficial

Hours of work: Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 5.00pm, 40 hours per week
