About the Role:
Prepare and organise tools, materials, and equipment for practical lessons across Art and DT
Support students and staff during lessons, providing technical guidance when needed
Ensure all tools, machinery, and materials are safely maintained and compliant with health and safety standards
Monitor and manage departmental stock and supplies, including ordering materials such as timber, adhesives, paints, and art tools
Contribute to the display of student work and project outcomes throughout the school
Maintain tidy, well-organised workshops and studio spacesRequirements:
Relevant qualifications or practical experience in Art, Design Technology, or a related discipline
Familiarity with tools, machinery, and workshop safety protocols (experience with laser cutters, 3D printers, or kilns is highly desirable)
Good organisational skills and the ability to manage tasks independently
A flexible and enthusiastic approach to supporting creativity in the classroom
