CNC Setter/Operator - Wigston (LE18)
We are looking for experienced CNC setter/operators who are willing to expand their skills, learn new machines and can commit to a rotating shift within a busy aerospace company in Wigston.
Initially you will be operating high‑end CNC machinery to produce intricate aerospace components. You will be trained to set these specific machines and will use micrometers to ensure the component matches the drawing, working to both quality and production targets.
Shift Rotation
- Days – Monday to Thursday 05:45 – 13:45; Friday 05:45 – 10:45
- Afternoon – Monday to Thursday 13:45 – 21:45; Friday 10:45 – 15:45
- Nights – Monday to Thursday 21:45 – 05:45; Friday 15:45 – 20:45
Your initial training is on fixed days (average 2–4 weeks). While training, you will receive £15.70/hr, moving to £19/hr upon transitioning to the rotating shift pattern.
Requirements
- Strong background as a setter/operator on milling or turning machines
- Experience working on metal components
- Ability to accurately use micrometers
- Flexibility to work a rotating shift pattern
