Exterior Planting Maintenance Technician - London
Join our Grounds Maintenance team working in central London. Drivers only!
Full‑Time Enfield £30,785 - £30,785 per year Monday to Friday
Responsibilities
* Responsible for the maintenance of our clients external planting requirements including external spaces, roof terraces, urban gardens, living walls, etc.
* Watering, weeding, seasonal pruning and planting.
* Hedge cutting, lawn mowing and border edging.
* Irrigation installation, maintenance and repair.
* Assisting in the control of pest and disease.
* Logging all visit information on Plant Plan IT systems, reporting issues or concerns at the earliest possible opportunity to ensure top‑tier customer satisfaction.
* Ensuring all health and safety procedures are adhered to and any incidents are reported at the first available opportunity.
* Be punctual and professional at all times, providing exceptional customer service.
* Present a clean, tidy and professional appearance, ensuring all equipment is kept clean and in good working order and workspaces are clean and organised.
Requirements
* Proven experience in external plant maintenance.
* Proven horticultural experience and comprehensive plant knowledge.
* Experience using/maintaining irrigation systems.
* Experience using necessary equipment e.g. lawn mowers, hedge cutters, etc.
* A proactive approach to problem‑solving with a can‑do and flexible attitude.
* Exceptional customer service skills – an ambassador for Plant Plan, our culture and values.
* Valid UK driving licence.
* Ability to operate from our North London base in Enfield.
Preferred:
* Horticulture qualification.
* PA1 & PA6.
* IPAF & PASMA.
