The Role
A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join a well‑established training provider as a Sales Consultant, supporting the continued growth of their specialist training and apprenticeship programmes within the Building Engineering Services sector. Based at their Burgess Hill centre, this role forms a key part of the Sales Team and reports into the Centre Manager. You will be responsible for converting inbound enquiries, nurturing key accounts, and ensuring customers receive the highest standard of service throughout their journey.
You will:
Act as the primary contact for customer sales enquiries
Maximise all sales opportunities to meet revenue and conversion targets
Develop, maintain, and grow relationships with key customers
Attend visits and events to promote training offerings and build strong partnerships
Provide tailored advice on appropriate training solutions
Update and amend customer bookings to ensure accuracy for internal teams
Work collaboratively with Business Development and Recruitment teams to support apprenticeship growth
Conduct competitor analysis to keep the training portfolio competitive
Maintain accurate CRM records and task logs
Contribute positively to Sales Team meetings and wider business collaboration
Requirements
Previous experience in a sales role is highly desirable, along with a proven ability to achieve revenue and conversion targets. Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential, as well as being confident with Microsoft Office applications and CRM systems. Knowledge of the gas or electrical industry would be highly desirable. A full driving licence is also highly desirable.
This role could suit someone who has worked as a Sales Executive, Account Manager, or Business Development Executive.
