Our client is a boutique financial advisory firm offering tailored, holistic advice to individuals and families. With a close-knit team of around five, they provide an outstanding level of client care thats built on trust, transparency and genuine relationships.
This role offers the chance to work directly with one of the firms founders, combining hands-on financial advice with a strategic advisory approach. Its ideal for someone who enjoys both detailed client work and helping to shape the wider direction of a growing business.
The Role
As Paraplanner/ Financial Adviser, youll deliver expert, regulated advice across investments and retirement planning helping clients achieve their financial goals and feel confident about their future.
Youll manage a portfolio of clients and develop new client relationships providing high-quality, compliant advice and maintaining long-term, trusted relationships. Working closely with paraplanners and administrators, youll ensure each recommendation is well researched, clearly communicated and fully aligned to client needs.
This is a broad, hands-on role perfect for someone who enjoys variety and autonomy in a friendly, collaborative environment.
Key areas include:
Building and maintaining strong, trusted client relationships.
Conducting detailed fact-finds, reviews, and portfolio updates.
Delivering clear, tailored financial planning advice in line with FCA requirements.
Overseeing research, reports and recommendations with support from paraplanners.
Ensuring all advice and documentation meets regulatory and compliance standards.
Supporting business growth through referrals and client development.
About You
Youll be a working towards, or a qualified Financial Adviser, with solid experience in providing holistic, regulated advice. Youll enjoy working as part of a small, dedicated team where your voice is heard and your input valued.

Confidence working independently while collaborating closely with colleagues.

Whats on Offer
Salary dependant on experience and open to negotiation
4 days per week or full time
Hybrid working ideally office-based 2 days per week (Hertford) with 1 day remote (typically Wednesdays)
