The post holder's main responsibility is to implement and support ePMA functionality and enhancements of the trust EPR system. This will focus on supplier liaison, system configuration, testing and support, workflow changes and training to optimise and improve the current medicines work flows within the Trust
Main duties of the job
The ePMA system will be designed, specified, maintained and optimised to support the safe delivery of SACT, clinical trials and non-SACT medicines, in accordance with local policies and protocols and relevant national guidance. The post holder will work closely with clinical stakeholders and technical leads to ensure the effective ongoing development and safe use of the EPR system, providing expert pharmacy and medicines-related input. The post holder will have a specific responsibility for supporting the set-up, configuration and maintenance of clinical trial treatment plans within the system. The EPR must support existing clinical workflows, integrate effectively with local working practices, and be used in a way that reflects and promotes the Trust's core values.

Person Specification
Qualifications
* Degree in Pharmacy
* Registered as a pharmacist with General Pharmaceutical Council
Knowledge and Expertise
* Good change management
* Good pharmaceutical knowledge
* Knowledge of changing NHS environment & government initiatives
* Evidence of managing a changing situation
* Oncology pharmacy practice experience.
* Knowledge of current & future developments in cancer treatment
* Good GCP knowledge
Experience
* Experience of configuring a pharmacy IT system or an EPR in a clinical environment
