Our excellent client, based in Stroud, are currently recruiting for an Accounts Assistant to join their small and growing finance team (including an office dog!) on a full-time, permanent basis.
This business has a number of clients on their books that rely on them for finance assistance, therefore, you will need to be a friendly point of contact for queries and processing.
For this role, previous finance experience or qualifications are NOT necessary, so long as you are keen to learn. Our client is willing to offer study support towards an AAT qualification to the successful candidate. Full training provided.

Responsibilities:
- Assist with finance/accounts email inbox.
- Using document scanning system for import/coding/authorisation/export to system.
- Preparing payment runs – weekly and monthly.
- Payment allocations.
- Loading payments onto various banks – as relevant to each client.
- Issuing payment remittances where relevant.
- Supplier statement recs and dealing with any queries.
- Posting and reconciling expenses claims.
- Raising sales invoices.
- General administration.

Salary – Up to £13.19ph depending on experience
Hours – 35 hours per week: Monday – Friday, 9am - 5pm (1hr lunch) + benefits including;
