Job Description
The Senior Assistant Company Secretary will report directly to the Group Company Secretary and will:
3. Support the C-Suite with company secretarial services and governance requirements.
4. Ensure compliance with relevant legal and regulatory frameworks.
5. Prepare and maintain statutory registers and records.
6. Draft and review board minutes, resolutions, and other governance documentation.
7. Coordinate board and committee meetings, ensuring effective communication.
8. Provide advice on corporate governance matters and best practices.
9. Act as a key point of contact for stakeholders on governance-related queries.
10. Assist with regulatory reporting and filings as required.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Senior Assistant Company Secretary should have:
11. Professional qualifications in company secretarial or legal practice - ideally be fully CGI or part CGI qualified.
12. Experience in the financial services industry.
13. Strong knowledge of corporate governance and regulatory frameworks.
14. Proficiency in preparing and maintaining company secretarial documentation.
15. Excellent communication and organisational skills.
16. Ability to work collaboratively with senior stakeholders and teams.
17. A proactive approach to problem-solving and attention to detail.
18. Based in London.
