Due to continued growth, they are seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer to join their workshop team in Mansfield.This is a fantastic opportunity to work on a wide range of heavy plant and specialist equipment, with excellent training, career progression, and long-term job security.The RoleWorking within a busy workshop environment, you'll be responsible for the inspection, maintenance, repair, and rebuild of heavy machinery and associated equipment.Key Responsibilities* Strip down, inspect, overhaul, and rebuild heavy plant machinery* Diagnose and repair faults on diesel engines, hydraulic systems, and electrical components* Carry out preventative maintenance and repairs to a high standard* Utilise diagnostic equipment and technical knowledge to optimise machinery performance* Ensure all work complies with company quality and safety standardsCandidate Requirements* Previous experience working on heavy plant machinery, diesel engines, hydraulics, or similar equipment* NVQ Level 3 in Plant Maintenance, Land-Based Engineering, HGV Mechanics, or equivalent* Strong mechanical fault-finding and problem-solving skills* Welding and fabrication experience would be advantageous* Full UK Driving Licence* Own tools preferred* Right to work in the UKIf you're a hands-on engineer looking to join a respected company where your skills will be valued and developed, we'd love to hear from you.Apply today for immediate consideration.TPBN1_UKTJ
