Contentious Construction (Property & Disputes) – Edinburgh (Assignment 17546)
An exciting opportunity has arisen with a leading Scottish law firm for a Solicitor to join its Construction and Infrastructure Disputes team, based in Edinburgh. This is a fantastic role for a junior lawyer seeking to build a career in contentious construction, with exposure to high-quality and complex disputes across the UK.
This position is suited to candidates at NQ – 4 years’ PQE level, ideally with experience or a strong interest in contentious construction work. The team advises a wide range of clients – including contractors, sub-contractors, employers, and professional consultants – on disputes across the infrastructure, energy, utilities, renewables, and commercial development sectors. The role includes involvement in adjudication, arbitration, mediation, and court proceedings, including work in the Technology and Construction Court (TCC) and the Court of Session.
The successful candidate will support on complex claims, assist with settlements and dispute-related agreements, and contribute to the delivery of practical and commercially focused advice. The team is also open to considering applications from candidates with experience in other areas of litigation – such as civil, commercial, or personal injury – provided they have a genuine interest in this area. You will also be encouraged to take part in business development, knowledge-sharing, and firm-wide initiatives, with support to develop advocacy and client relationship skills.

Conveyancing Solicitor – Paisley (Assignment 17446)
This long-standing legal practice currently seeking a Conveyancing Solicitor to join its busy team in Paisley.
The ideal candidate will be newly qualified up to five years’ PQE and will have a solid background in residential conveyancing. Any additional experience in commercial conveyancing would be advantageous. A working knowledge of private client matters, such as drafting wills and powers of attorney, is also expected.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing their own caseload, supported by a dedicated administrative team. Strong time-management and organisational skills are essential.
This is a full-time, permanent position based in the Paisley office, though hybrid or flexible working arrangements may be considered. The role offers genuine opportunities for long-term career development.
Scottish Liability Team – Edinburgh/Glasgow (Assignment 17532)
An exciting opportunity has arisen with a leading Scottish law firm for a Solicitor to join its Scottish Liability team, based in either Edinburgh or Glasgow. This is an excellent chance to gain hands-on experience in a well-respected team handling a variety of complex and high-quality personal injury and liability defence work.
The role involves defending a broad spectrum of insurance liability claims, including personal injury cases ranging from low-value to large loss. Key areas include employers’ liability, public liability, motor claims, motor crime, property damage, HSE/regulatory matters, and fatal accident inquiries. The successful candidate will work closely with experienced senior lawyers and be encouraged to take ownership of their work, with exposure to both routine and sensitive matters.
This position is suited to a solicitor at NQ–1 year PQE level, ideally based in Edinburgh, though applications from those based in Glasgow will also be considered – ideally with experience gained at a defender personal injury firm. A proactive approach, strong attention to detail, and a willingness to take initiative and engage fully with the work are essential qualities for this role.

Private Client Solicitor – Dundee (Assignment 17525)
Our client, a respected Scottish law firm is seeking a Solicitor to join its leading Private Client team in Dundee.
You will advise individuals and families on key legal matters including wills, powers of attorney, inheritance tax, and succession planning.
Ideal candidates will be at the newly qualified level up to 3 years’ PQE and will be empathetic, clear communicators with a genuine interest in helping clients through important life decisions. Support is available for further qualifications such as STEP.

Our client, a well-established Law Firm, is seeking a conveyancing Solicitor to join their friendly, medium-sized team based in Stirling. Specialising in agricultural and rural property law, the firm provides practical legal advice, succession planning, and dedicated farm buyer-seller services.
Applications are welcomed from all experience levels — whether you’re a newly qualified Solicitor or an experienced professional. The workload primarily involves general conveyancing, including residential, commercial, rural, and executry cases.
