School Information:
Birkett House is an extremely popular and successful all age special school for pupils with learning difficulties. We are a multi-sited school in South Leicestershire. The main school site is in Wigston, and we also have inclusion units at Thistly Meadow Primary School (Blaby), Little Hill Primary School (Wigston), Thomas Estley Community College (Broughton Astley) and a purpose-built Senior Department based in Countesthorpe.
Job Information:
The school requires an inspirational, innovative and dynamic teacher. You will likely be based at our main Wigston site for the next academic year.
The position would suit a teacher who has experience and a passion for working with children and young people with learning difficulties. A knowledge of SEN is desirable but not essential. We also welcome professionals from a range of educational backgrounds and at different stages in their career development including ECTs (NQT) as we expand our stimulating 21st century learning environment.

Contract: Full time, permanent.
Salary: Either: ECT (NQT), Main Scale or UPS (dependent on experience) + 1 SEN point.
