This exciting new role combines two key areas at The Jungle: helping manage our new 80-foot polytunnel filled with fresh herbs and veggies for our on-site restaurant, The Lazy Llama, and delivering our Gortanewry Farm Experience to groups and visitors. Key Responsibilities: Farm & Guest Experience: Deliver our Gortanewry Farm Experience to school groups, families, and other visitors sharing fun facts, guiding interactions with animals, and showcasing our working farm in an engaging way. Provide a warm, informative, and interactive experience that reflects The Jungles charm and values. Polytunnel & Growing Operations: Manage day-to-day operations of our large polytunnel planting, watering, weeding, harvesting and general upkeep. Grow a wide variety of vegetables and herbs to supply our restaurant, The Lazy Llama. Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to meet their needs for fresh, homegrown produce. Llama Care & Training: Assist with feeding, grooming, and handling of our llamas. Help train new llama recruits for future trekking and guest interaction.
