Are you looking for an opportunity to progress in store management? We’re looking for an Assistant Store Manager to join our home and fashion store team in Washington. Candidate must be fully flexible, weekend work will be required.
Responsibilities
* Support the Store Manager with the day‑to‑day running of the store and take full responsibility in their absence.
* Inspire and support staff and volunteers to deliver an excellent customer journey that reflects our values.
* Ensure the highest standard of customer service.
* Achieve sales and visual merchandising targets.
* Maximise sales through physical and digital channels.
* Support recruitment and development of volunteers.
* Achieve expectations within campaign activities.
* Work with the manager to generate stock.
* Operate in a fast‑paced store that trades 7 days a week, requiring flexibility for weekends and bank holidays on a rota basis.
* Handle physically demanding tasks related to collections, deliveries and donations.
Qualifications
* Experience in a customer‑facing role.
* Supervisory experience.
* Commercially driven and encouraging new ideas.
