Job Purpose
The Logistics/EPC Specialist will support the logistics department by managing the movement of materials into manufacturing and the loadout of finished project products. The role involves coordinating shipments, preparing customs documentation for imports/exports, and performing compliance checks. Experience in Manufacturing or Project environments is preferred.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist in developing EPC Project Logistics Plans, including shipment lookaheads, risk identification, and strategy.
* Lead and coordinate regular shipment progress reviews.
* Optimise logistics planning to reduce shipment volumes, consolidate loads, and control freight costs.
* Collaborate with Manufacturing, Sourcing, Projects, and Materials teams.
* Support monthly reporting on inbound and outbound logistics spend.
* Act as customer point of contact for EPC logistics matters.
* Verify and prepare import/export documents according to customs compliance requirements.
* Support loadouts by arranging kickoff meetings, aligning key parties, and ensuring smooth project execution.
* Maintain carrier compliance at all times.
* Participate in logistics meetings.
* Process transport requests in the freight system.
* Handle escalations for NOR requests via requestors, suppliers and the Logistics 4PL.
* Source cost-effective and efficient transport solutions.
Qualifications & Requirements
* Strong understanding of Incoterms and international logistics.
* Preferred knowledge of Duties and Tariffs.
* Strong problem-solving ability, judgment, initiative, and creativity.
* Excellent communication, influencing and organizational skills.
* Self-starter with strong attention to detail.
* Advanced Microsoft skills (Excel, etc.).
* Training will be provided for logistics systems.
