About the Company:
A well-established manufacturing business based in Gloucestershire looking to recruit a skilled and motivated Lead Maintenance Engineer to support production facility and carry out day-to-day factory maintenance.
The Lead Maintenance Engineer Role:
This is a predominantly Lead Maintenance Engineer role which is a practical role involving the maintenance, repair and improvement of machine tools alongside general day to day factory maintenance duties.
Key Responsibilities for the Lead Maintenance Engineer Role:
Maintenance, fault-finding and repair of machine tools and factory equipment
Planned and reactive maintenance across the site
Diagnosing and resolving hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical faults
Installation and commissioning of machinery and equipment
Ensuring all work is carried out in line with health and safety standards
The Ideal Candidate
Proven experience as a Machine Tool Engineer, Maintenance Engineer or similar
Strong hydraulic and electrical fault-finding experience (essential)
Mechanical engineering background with hands-on problem-solving ability
Ability to work independently and manage day-to-day maintenance tasks
Relevant engineering qualifications or a time-served apprenticeship preferred

Salary of £38,000 £45,000 per annum (DOE)
