Offer description

We are seeking adedicated and reliable Senior Carerto join our warm and friendly team at Nether Place Nursing Home, a well-established care home committed to providing exceptional, person-centred care to our residents. This role requires a commitment to enhancing the quality of life for our residents, ensuring their comfort and well-being.


Duties

* Providing high-quality personal care and support to residents
* Leading by example and supervising care staff on shift
* Writing and updating care plans and risk assessments
* Liaising with healthcare professionals and family members
* Assist residents with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
* Assist with mobility and physical activities, including heavy lifting when necessary.
* Implement care plans tailored to individual client needs, including behaviour management strategies.
* Maintain accurate records of patient care and progress.
* Support residents with dementia care, ensuring a safe environment


Skills

* Experience in nursing home or similar care environments is highly desirable.
* NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care (or working towards)
* Excellent communication skills for interacting with clients, families, and healthcare teams.
* A caring, patient and respectful approach to others
* Capability to develop and follow detailed care plans tailored to individual needs.
* Strong organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
