CCTV Drainage Engineer - Hillington What’s in it for you
Join to apply for the CCTV Drainage Engineer role at Ipsum. This is a full-time permanent role.
About the role
Working from one of our custom-equipped CCTV vans, you will visit all types of clients — commercial, residential, industrial, rail, road, utility, etc. — across the UK. You will carry out CCTV surveys of drainage systems, assess pipe conditions, analyse results, and produce high quality reports. All this in conjunction with our Jetting Units when required, therefore you will be responsible for all site activity ensuring the team are working safely and efficiently and ensuring that work is completed within the required timescale.
As a CCTV Drainage Engineer, you will…
* Day to day responsibility for site staff and all associated site activity in conjunction with Project Supervisor
* Ensure compliance of site staff with respect to Health and Safety, Quality and Environment
* Ensure Company policies are always adhered to
* Ensure all site related incidents are reported
* Work closely with Project Supervisor to ensure work is pre-sited and pre-planned when required
* Identify and react swiftly to resolve problems before they escalate
* Responsible for all Jetting & CCTV work completed on site
* Responsible for producing high quality results, reports, and feedback
* Establish good relationships and communication and resolve issues and early resolution of any potential problems
* Be flexible: operates 24/7 with early starts, weekend work and out-of-hours work across the UK
About you
* Experience or qualifications in the Utilities or Drainage industry
* Full, clean driving licence
* Ideally relevant certifications such as OS19X (MSCC5 standards), plus HGV qualifications
