Landscape Planner – Senior/Principal
Environment – Full‑time – Bristol or Cirencester office.
About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Landscape Planner to join our Environment team. The role is open for candidates at either Senior or Principal grade. The successful applicant will support us in delivering outstanding service that promotes sustainable and successful development for our growing client base.
Responsibilities
* Deliver Landscape & Visual Impact Assessments (LVIAs) and Townscape and Visual Impact Assessments (TVIAs) for major development projects.
* Produce and manage related workstreams, including strategic planning and mitigation strategies.
* Provide innovative landscape techniques that create sustainable and high‑quality designs.
* Work closely with clients, teams and community members to enhance environments.
* Support appeal work for sites in sensitive landscapes, liaising with UK leading legal counsel.
* Produce detailed, high‑quality technical reports and visual analyses.
* Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, maintaining open communication and integrity.
Qualifications & Experience
* Degree or postgraduate diploma in Landscape Architecture.
* Chartered Member of the Landscape Institute.
* Proven experience in LVIAs, feasibility studies, landscape planning, design, supporting landscape statements and mitigation strategies.
* Track record in the energy sector.
* Strong technical report writing skills.
* Successful project management with effective organisational and communication skills.
* Ability to work collaboratively and independently, and to be proactive, strategic and analytical in supporting client requirements.
