This role is working on the University of Hertfordshire’s Student accommodation project, a 50 year PPP project which consists of the design, build, financing and operation of 3,000+ student residence rooms based on the College Lane Campus in Hatfield.
We’re looking for a highly organised Project Administrator to provide high quality operational and administrative support to the ULiving@Hertfordshire team.

About the Role
As Project Administrator, you’ll be at the heart of the ULiving@Hertfordshire operation, providing high‑quality administrative support to the CEO and a busy, cross‑functional team. From managing inboxes, diaries and key documentation to coordinating Board and stakeholder meetings, you’ll play a vital role in keeping the asset running smoothly and professionally.
You’ll support a wide range of activity across facilities management, asset management, sales, marketing and student experience, working with room sales data, producing reports, tracking actions and helping turn insight into action. You’ll also help drive delivery of the site’s ESG commitments, coordinate student engagement initiatives, and ensure the office environment is well organised and welcoming. This is a varied, visible role for someone who enjoys managing various priorities, taking ownership and making a genuine impact through proactive, high quality support.
About You
This role is ideal for someone who is proactive, resilient and highly organised, with 2–5 years’ experience in an office management or administrative environment and proven minute‑taking experience supporting senior stakeholders.
Ideally, you will have experience working within the Higher Education sector, a PFI/PPP environment, or a service led operational setting such as facilities or asset management. You thrive in fast paced environments, confidently balancing multiple priorities with strong attention to detail and clear, professional communication. Collaborative and curious, you’re comfortable with ambiguity and consistently seek out smarter, time saving ways of working that enhance both team and personal performance. A natural self‑starter with a can‑do attitude, you take a solution‑focused approach and enjoy supporting others while contributing to continuous improvement.
