Job Title: Hotel Sales Manager Location: Burton Reports To: Director Properties: Newton Park Country House Hotel, Burton & Cwrt Beddyn Trading Ltd, Wales Job Summary We are seeking an experienced and result-oriented Hotel Sales Manager to oversee sales and business development activities for Newton Park Country House Hotel - Burton and Cwrt Beddyn Hotel & Spa- Wales. Securing and developing new business, maximising sales performance and nurturing strong partnerships with key client accounts. This role will grow the hotel's client network in corporate accounts alongside working with the Events team to secure further meetings, events, corporate and private dining bookings; growing overall revenue of site The role requires regular travel between both hotel properties and client locations for meetings, networking events, and business development activities. Key Responsibilities Sales & Business Development Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue and occupancy targets for both hotels. Identify and generate new business opportunities from corporate clients, conference, and leisure markets. Focus on generating revenue from corporate accommodation and meeting room bookings. Manage and grow existing client accounts to maximize repeat business. Conduct sales calls, client meetings, and presentations to promote hotel services and facilities. Negotiate contracts, rates, and agreements with clients and partners. Builds strong, professional relationships with clients and corporate agencies, ensuring high standards of communication and support Has the ability to work under pressure, to meet and exceed sales targets. Market & Client Management Build strong relationships with travel agencies, DMCs, corporates, and event planners. Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and pricing strategies. Maintain updated client databases and sales records. Revenue & Reporting Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and market analysis. Ensure achievement of monthly and annual sales targets. Required Skills & Qualifications Master's/ Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field. Minimum 3–5 years of experience in hotel sales. Strong knowledge of hotel sales strategies. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Ability to manage two properties effectively. Strong networking and relationship management skills. Preferred Candidate Profile Thorough understanding of hotel sales and revenue, preferably gained in a previous Sales Manager role Self-motivated, target-driven, and capable of working independently.
