Service Care Solutions are recruiting a Remote Psychiatrist to support an established client - providing assessments for ADHD and Autism (ASD) patients.
Location: Remote (must be worked in the UK), onsite appointments available at Canterbury and Dorchester for inflated rates.
Pay: to be discussed in pre screen interview
Hours: Minimum of 3 full days per week (weekend working available)
Both Adult Psychiatrist's and Child Psychiatrist's will be considered!
Duties:
* Conducting comprehensive developmental histories using preferred methods/tools to evaluate patients undergoing autism assessments.
* Conducting ADHD assessments.
* Observing patients during sessions and ensuring questions are asked in an thorough but compassionate manner.
* Reviewing reports, developmental history, and relevant collateral information from home and observer in the same session.
* Formulating a diagnosis, concluding the assessment, and providing feedback to the family in a kind, age-appropriate, and compassionate manner, including recommendations and signposting to local/national resources.
* Collaborating with the multidisciplinary team (MDT) in cases where further information is required and offering a separate follow-up session to conclude the diagnosis if needed.
* Producing high-quality, detailed diagnostic reports within 48 hours post-assessment, adhering to relevant criteria and report templates. (Admin support for formatting and quality control is provided).
* Requesting onward referrals as clinically necessary, in line with local NHS Trust/ICB protocols.
Clinics:
* Up to four appointments per day, paid on a competitive per assessment tariff (self-employed, outside IR35).
* Standard Assessments = 2hrs, Dual ASD/ADHD Assessments =2.5hrs, Conclusion Appointments =30mins
* Remote work and face to face clients.
* Other options available such as hybrid/face to face, depending on your location.
* Flexible working days available Monday to Sunday, accommodating your schedule.
What We’re Looking For:
* GMC-registered doctor with a valid license to practice.
* CCT in Adult Psychiatry / Child Psychiatry required.
* Expertise and confidence in autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and/or ADHD assessments for adults or children.
* Up-to-date with revalidation and appraisal processes.
