Staffordshire County Council, rated ‘Good’ by OFSTED, is seeking a Family Practitioner to support children and families using a community‑based restorative practice model.
This is a fixed‑term, 12‑month contract. Full training will be provided for those unfamiliar with restorative practice.
Main Responsibilities
* Lead early help assessments and plans
* Collaborate with social workers to support children in need, children on child protection plans, and children in care
* Contribute to parenting assessments and support mediation, crisis prevention, conflict resolution, and Life Story Work
* Maintain accurate documentation, reports, and records of work with children, young people, and families
The Ideal Candidate
* NVQ Level 3 related to working with children and families or equivalent experience
* Flexible with working hours, including evening work and one weekend in every seven
* Current UK driving licence and vehicle
