Full Time Staffing Officer – Home Support
Responsibilities
Reporting to the Staffing and Scheduling Manager
* Assigning and scheduling staff according to pre-approved requirements and standards
* Scheduling Northwood employee’s groups of clients/shifts in a designated area
* Works with Supervisors to address issues/concerns
* Accepting new clients, processing Client increases, decreases and Client on holds from Intake
* Creating and maintaining current and advanced schedules
* Communication with Clients and Field Staff via Phone, email and Procura text
* Accepting and approval of vacation requests via Portal
* Technology troubleshooting
* Completing other tasks as required
Qualifications
* Grade 12 or equivalent
* Degree/Diploma (minimum 2 year program) in Business or Computer Technology
* One to two years of relevant work experience
* Computer software training required (e.g. Microsoft Office – Word, Excel, Outlook etc.)
* Experience working with Pocura and Procura Mobile preferred/an asset
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to regularly deal with challenging issues while maintaining a professional attitude
* Strong logical and organizational skills
* Demonstrated ability to work independently and in a team environment
* Ability to manage change effectively
* Flexibility to work various shifts (days, evenings, weekends, holidays)
* Ability to attend work on a regular and consistent basis
Hours: 80 hours bi-weekly - Days/Evenings
