Your company
A financial services organisation based in Milton Keynes offers hybrid work (50% in the office) to an experienced Compliance, Governance, Risk, or CoSec specialist. Candidates from various backgrounds are encouraged to apply. This is a broad role requiring a range of experience.
Your new role
* You will oversee the company's outsourcing processes, maintain records, and ensure suppliers undergo necessary risk assessments in line with policy.
* You will support the company in managing third-party risks, applying due diligence processes as per policy.
* You will collaborate with the company Secretary to ensure appropriate governance procedures and frameworks are in place.
* You will serve as the local contact for the central Whistleblowing Office, facilitate internal investigations related to whistleblowing reports.
* You will monitor and assess internal fraud prevention processes, identify significant risks, and suggest improvements.
* You will deputise for the MLRO, overseeing anti-money laundering and anti-terrorism financing activities.
* You will provide expert advice on AML compliance.
* You will investigate suspicious activity reports and report findings to the Board.
* You will support the business in complying with competition and antitrust laws.

You should have experience in many of the following areas:

* Ethics
* Anti-Money Laundering
Excellent communication skills are essential, with the ability to build trust and liaise professionally at a senior level, both verbally and in writing. You should be able to manage your workload effectively. Candidates from the financial services or legal sectors are preferred, but other backgrounds will be considered.

* Salary of £45,000 to £55,000, depending on experience
