KS2 Class Teacher (Full-Time, Temporary)

Contract: Full-Time Temporary (Until end of academic year)
A welcoming and supportive junior school in Salisbury is seeking a committed and enthusiastic KS2 Class Teacher to join their team after the Easter holidays.
This is a full-time temporary position running until May half-term, with the potential to be extended for the right candidate.
The Role:
Full teaching responsibilities, including planning, preparation, marking, and assessment
Delivering engaging and creative lessons in line with the KS2 curriculum
Managing an average-sized class with a small number of pupils who may present some challenging behaviours
Working closely and collaboratively with support staff and additional adults in the classroom
Contributing positively to the wider school community

The Ideal Candidate Will:
Be a qualified teacher (QTS) with experience in KS2
Demonstrate strong behaviour management skills
Be confident, adaptable, and committed to pupil progress
Work effectively as part of a team, liaising with support staff and senior leadership
Hold an enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service
Be able to provide reliable, recent references

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
