Brixton London…where David Bowie took his first steps, home of the famous Ritzy Cinema, the location of one of London’s best food markets, and for over 20 years has been home to Goddard Brixton on Brixton Hill. This established practice in South London is looking for a confident GP vet wishing to settle and make their mark.
About your new role! Our new team member will be confident in day-to-day GP sole charge practice life, working alongside an RVN who we are currently recruiting for, and a fantastic trainee nurse who knows the practice inside‑out.
This is a 4‑day week role and includes a 1:4 branch Saturday and 1:10 hospital Sunday rotation, and 1 bank holiday per year. There are NO on‑call requirements for this position.
The Brixton practice is looking for a vet to set up a close‑knit client base, performing first‑opinion consultations and routine surgeries. Brixton is within 20 minutes of the south‑west sister triangle, with Kennington and Stockwell branches providing additional support and ultrasound facilities.
You will be fully supported by our 24‑hour Stone Lion Hospital in Wimbledon for any complex cases you may need to refer, or for any of your patients who require out‑of‑hours care. You will also be supported by a fantastic regional manager and regional head vet to assist with any clinical management support you may need.
As a sole charge branch vet, leadership training will also be provided, and you will work closely with your RVN to ensure the practice runs smoothly (though we know there are "those days"!).

The practice is situated in the middle of Streatham Hill and Brixton stations, within a 20‑minute walk or 5‑minute cycle from the practice.

Our sole charge vet salary band is £60,000 to £75,000 (FTE) depending on experience and allowing room for growth within the role.
