Position: Service Manager – Care-at-Home & Supported Living Services Location: Bellshill, Lanarkshire Full-Time: 37.5 Hours/Week Salary: £30,000-32,000 per annum Are you an experienced care professional with a proven track record in regulated services? About the Role We are recruiting for a dedicated Service Manager to oversee our Care-at-Home and Supported Living services. Reporting to the Head of Operations, Area Manager and Registered Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring safe, effective, and compliant delivery of regulated services to adults and older people, in line with Health and Social Care Standards, SSSC Codes of Practice, and Care Inspectorate expectations. Key Responsibilities Lead, supervise and support care coordinators and frontline teams to deliver consistent, high-quality care services. Manage weekly rotas, emergency cover, and on-call arrangements to ensure 24/7 care continuity. Ensure all care plans are person-centred, outcome-focused, and regularly reviewed in line with legislation and organisational policy. Conduct risk assessments, service reviews, and internal audits to ensure quality assurance and regulatory compliance. Oversee safe recruitment, induction, training, and ongoing professional development of care staff. Liaise with families, local authorities, health professionals, and multidisciplinary teams to maintain excellent working partnerships. Monitor service delivery against agreed budgets and KPIs. Promote independence and positive risk-taking for service users with complex needs. Participate in the on-call rota to ensure safe and responsive service provision outside core hours. What You’ll Need A minimum of 5–7 years' experience in a regulated care environment, with at least 2 in a leadership or service management role. A relevant qualification: SVQ Level 4 (or equivalent) in Health & Social Care, and ideally working towards or holding a management award. SSSC registration and a solid understanding of current Care Inspectorate frameworks and health and social care legislation. Experience in managing care planning, assessments, risk management, and safeguarding. Confident IT and report-writing skills to maintain accurate records, documentation, and evaluations. Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a multidisciplinary care team.
