A global manufacturer of specialist packaging who specialise in the design and manufacture of precision injection moulds, from single to ultra-high-cavitation moulds across many industries, is seeking a Maintenance Engineer to join their production facility.
Undergoing a significant transformation with millions of pounds of investment, they offer Class 7 cleanroom injection moulding, injection blow moulding and assembly.
As a Maintenance Engineer, your duties will include -
* Providing Maintenance support to production to maximise the up time through PPM and reactive breakdown situations
* Plant and machinery installation/decommissioning
* Quality inspections on calibrated plant and machinery
* Active participation in process improvement projects
* Working to and within the quality management system
* Exposure to fluid power (inc. pneumatics), site services as well as various improvement projects on an ad-hoc basis
To be successful in the role of Maintenance Engineer, the ideal candidate will -
1. Be a time served / apprentice trained Maintenance Engineer
2. Have a recognised electrical qualification
3. Have a minimum of 2 years' maintenance experience within a hi-volume manufacturing environment
4. Be experienced with pneumatic and hydraulic systems
