Tenant Support Worker - The Foyer Project
Salary - £12,657 per annum (based on FTE £24,612)
What you'll do...
To provide tenancy related support to young people and enable them to live independently, efficiently and cohesively in the community. This includes housing support, utilities, mental and physical wellbeing, positive relationships, and personal safety. Tenant support workers liaise with many services to ensure the safeguarding and welfare of all tenants. Risk assessments, weekly face to face visits, measured outcomes and live support plans are the basis of the service.
What you'll bring to the role...
* Excellent numeracy and literacy skills
* Ability to prioritise and manage workload
* Time management skills
* Practical approach to the provision of support
* Ability to undertake assessments and develop support plans with service users
* Administration skills, including use of IT (O365/Word/ Excel/ Discovery database)
* Excellent written and verbal communication
* Ability to sustain a professional relationship with clients and colleagues and be aware of boundaries
* Ability to represent the organisation and network with other agencies and develop relationships in a professional manner
* The ability to communicate in Welsh or a relevant community language would be desirable
