This role is based in Edinburgh and offers flexibility around working hours, with both full-time and part-time arrangements (30 - 37.5 hours) considered. This is a permanent opportunity. The Opportunity This is an excellent opportunity to join a supportive finance team within a diverse commercial property environment. You'll play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records across multiple entities while gaining exposure to month-end processes, reporting, and wider business operations. Key Responsibilities Maintain purchase and sales ledgers across a portfolio of entities Process invoices and manage supplier payment runs accurately and on time Issue invoices and monitor outstanding balances, supporting credit control activities Assist with month-end processes, including reconciliations and reporting Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and support management accounts production Produce regular cash reporting and analysis Respond to queries from suppliers and internal stakeholders Support audit preparation and year-end processes What You'll Bring Previous experience in a finance or accounts assistant role, or relevant exposure within an administrative role Strong Excel skills and confidence using finance systems (experience with ERP systems beneficial) High level of accuracy and attention to detail Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing deadlines Clear and professional communication skills A proactive, reliable approach with a willingness to learn Package Benefits Competitive salary (dependent on experience) Employer pension contribution Generous annual leave allowance, with increases linked to service Private healthcare and life assurance Flexible working arrangements, including part-time options Access to wellbeing initiatives and employee benefits schemes Why This Role?
