The impact you will have:
You will join our global Government Solutions team, and champion uncovering and developing new government customer relationships across the UK and EMEA region. As a Government Sales Executive you will become an expert in Elliptic’s value proposition, helping build our revenues with government bodies (central government, law enforcement and intelligence agencies) understand and navigate the impacts of increased adoption of digital assets.
You will leverage your extensive network in the UK government to manage the full sales cycle including prospecting, qualifying leads, negotiating terms, developing custom proposals and closing business to ultimately deliver profitable revenue growth and exceed your targets.

Key Responsibilities
What you will do:
* Develop net new business within the UK and EMEA Government law enforcement, defence, and intelligence communities
* Prospect, and manage full sales cycle from initial prospecting through deal closure
* Identify and call on key organisations within the the UK and EMEA Government law enforcement, defence, and intelligence communities space to educate, inform and ultimately develop into clients
* Build relationships, prospect and generate high quality leads
* Develop custom proposals based on customer requirements
* Conduct presentations and product demos with additional Elliptic staff serving as a point of leadership
* Negotiate terms and close the business
* Meet and exceed quarterly and annual quota in the government sector
* Deepen and optimize existing and new target agency relationships increasing Ellitpic’s credibility and exposure both deeper and wider than current status
* Understand existing and potential/new applications of our tools and data by government customers
* Provide market insight and feedback to support both sales and marketing initiatives, product positioning and narrative
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
You will be a great fit here if you:
* Understand how crypto intelligence tools support public sector investigation and enforcement
* Have experience selling into teams in central government, law enforcement and regulators
* Understand the competitive landscape in blockchain analytics
* Have deep relationships in the across the UK government space and can credibly expand those relationships and generate revenue
* Have the ability to analyse data to identify market trends and opportunities for cryptocurrency investigations and enforcement
* Can evaluate customers needs and preferences in relation to pricing, product terms and conditions to ensure that client requirements are addressed in commercial proposals
* Understand government contracting vehicles, procurement cycles and acquisition regulations
* Have a collaborative mindset
* Address problems immediately and can work across functions to solve problems
* Are flexible, adaptable and comfortable with changing priorities

* Experience successful mapping, prospecting and winning new business in the government sector
* Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate to a variety of stakeholders
* A self motivated and targeted, driven approach
* Experience conversing and negotiating confidently and successfully with senior government agents and decision makers
* Energy and enjoys working at pace, building team spirit and cultivating unity and commitment among the team

* Experience selling specifically to investigation and enforcement focused government agencies and units
* Understanding of crypto related financial crime
* Experience selling SaaS solutions to government/public sector
