As a Night Hygiene Machine Minder, you will:
* Strip down and clean the machinery and conveyor belts as per the cleaning schedule, reassembling and ensuring the machine is properly working once complete
* Complete the relevant paperwork once the work has been completed
* Report any issues to your supervisor
* Report to the engineering and hygiene managers any maintenance requirements
* Write issues in the nightly log register
* Handle chemicals whilst cleaning the factory
* Be comfortable working in confined spaces
* Be comfortable working at height
* Be happy to work in hot and cold environments
Our ideal Night Hygiene Operative will:
* Understand the workings of machinery and conveyor belts
* Be able to work with manual and power tools
* Have good observational skills
* Have a passion for delivering our customer orders while ensuring high Health and Safety, Food Safety, and Product Quality standards are met
* Be comfortable working in a chilled food processing environment
* Enjoy working at pace
* Be motivated to take action and achieve results
Previous experience working in a factory or warehouse environment is useful but not essential, as full training will be provided.
