Maintenance Assistant - Weston-super-Mare Maintenance Assistant Maintenance - Clarence Park Care Home Contract: Part Time Salary: 13.20 Per Hour Shift Type: Days Contracted hours: 22.5 Clarence Park Residential & Nursing Care Home is a well established service in Weston-super-Mare, located close to the seafront and set within a characterful Victorian townhouse. Supporting up to 43 residents, the home provides high quality nursing, respite and palliative care within a calm, welcoming and team focused environment where staff can build meaningful relationships and make a genuine difference every day. Maintenance Assistant 13.20 per hour 22.5 hours per week Pension, paid DBS, uniform provided Onsite parking 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full time contract) Role Overview As a Maintenance Assistant, you will ensure the home remains safe, well maintained and comfortable for residents, visitors and staff. You will take responsibility for day to day maintenance across the building, supporting a high standard of environment throughout the home. You will carry out a range of practical tasks including general repairs, basic electrical checks, minor installations and upkeep of fixtures and fittings. You will also maintain external areas, ensuring grounds are tidy, safe and presentable at all times. You will support compliance by carrying out routine health and safety checks, including fire safety systems and equipment, while identifying and reporting any issues promptly. Working closely with the wider team, you will contribute to ongoing improvement works and the smooth running of the home.
