Salary and Contract: £450min weekly pay, long-term basis. Contract: Term time only, September - July Potential for a permanent contract after or a plan for a career in teaching.
Physics Academic Mentor - What the School offers: Full-time, long-term role starting immediately in September in an Outstanding OFSTED school. The chance to assist and offer knowledge and guidance to students. Opportunity to gain classroom experience and 1-to-1 experience. Free car parking in the school vicinity. A detailed induction programme and ongoing mentoring for new staff.
Physics Academic Mentor - Key Responsibilities: Providing academic support to GCSE students in Maths. Delivering 1-to-1 and small group support to pupils. Helping to plan and deliver engaging lessons. Creating and building relationships to help with confidence and motivation.
Physics Academic Mentor - Ideal Candidate: A recent Physics graduate with a First-Class degree or 2:1 degree. Strong A-Level grade in Physics and Maths. Enthusiastic about education and helping GCSE students providing information to help them with their choices in the future. Confident, patient with excellent subject knowledge whilst displaying initiative.
