―Experience using music production technology to facilitate music creation, preferably Logic Pro X

―Outstanding teaching and communication skills and experience of good / outstanding Ofsted

―Positive, solution focused and proactive when managing and responding to data

Key Tasks

―The ability to work in a way that promotes the safety and wellbeing of young people

―Lead on, plan and deliver exciting Level 1 and Level 2 music production lessons for learners

―Outstanding approach to curriculum delivery using project-based methods of learning

―Support learners to plan and deliver a range of projects across the year including the annual company presentation evening and showcase

―Develop innovative ways of collaborating on projects both within the music department and the wider organisation

―Ensure learners are retained and achieve their qualifications, using a range of assessment methods ensuring the learners are inspired to progress

―Complete learners' individual learning plans (ILPs) and ensure feedback and marking is timely to support learner progression

―Ensure a high standard industry experience for learners with guest speakers and visits

―Attend weekly team meetings with colleagues using course data to track learner progress

― Work with parents and carers to support students and attend interviews and parents' evenings

― Promote your course and BCT at open evenings and events

Salary and Days of Work

―35 hours across 5 days a week for 52 weeks per year

―35 days of annual leave plus UK bank holidays

―This is a permanent full-time position

―Annual salary is dependant on experience (£28,000-£42,000)
