Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of young people with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and Disabilities (SEND)? At Targeted Provision, we are on a mission to enhance the educational experience for children facing challenges such as Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD), and Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD).

Your Role as an SEN/SEND Tutor:

* Provide engaging tuition in Maths, English, or Science to young people with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, and other educational needs.
* Support students referred by local authorities and schools in their educational and social-emotional journeys.
* Deliver flexible, holistic, and trauma-informed tutoring and mentoring tailored to each learner's needs.


Key Responsibilities:

* Plan and prepare each tutoring session to meet individual learning needs.
* Create engaging and holistic sessions that advance both educational and social-emotional development.
* Complete lesson reports and provide constructive feedback on student progress.


What We’re Looking For:

* Qualifications: Professional Teaching Qualifications (QTS/QTLS).
* Experience: Minimum of 2 years teaching experience, particularly with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, or other additional needs.
* Safeguarding Knowledge: Understanding of safeguarding processes is essential.
* DBS Check: Enhanced DBS required (we can assist with this).
* References: Two professional references needed.
* Location: Must be based in the UK with the right to work, even for remote assignments.

It’s crucial that you promote the health, safety, and wellbeing of children and adhere to safeguarding policies at all times.


Employment Details:

* This role involves engaging with us as a Worker for short-term assignments as they arise.
* You will work under a contract for service and be paid via PAYE.
* No guaranteed work hours or expense coverage.
* Our insurance covers the work you do for us.
* This is not a self-employed tutoring position.
