Role: Business Development Manager - Engineering Industry
Location: Bradford - BD10, Free On-site Parking
Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Thursday 08:45 am to 5:00 pm, early finish on Friday at 12:30 pm.
Note: These are core hours; flexible start and finish times are available.
Salary: £45,000 - £55,000 per annum
Start Date: ASAP

Our Bradford-based client seeks an experienced Business Development Manager/Sales Representative to join their established team. Reporting to the Managing Director and Technical Manager, you will leverage your technical knowledge, industry experience, and sales skills to support company growth.
Key Duties:
* Support business growth aligned with strategic plans and targets.
* Research and explore new markets identified by you or the company.
* Develop and nurture relationships with new and existing customers.
* Manage key accounts through ongoing communication and support.
* Drive service excellence across the business.
* Coordinate with engineering teams to meet customer technical specifications.
* Conduct onsite meetings and client visits.
* Manage UK-wide customer visits, including site inspections by other teams.
Customer Engagement & Marketing:
* Discuss and advise customers on process equipment features and benefits.
* Provide internal updates on customer trends and contribute to marketing strategies.
* Deliver exceptional customer service and maintain strong relationships.
* Progress customer proposals to order, including negotiations.
* Attend industry events such as conferences and exhibitions for networking.
Experience Needed:
* Proven experience in a Business Development role.
* Excellent customer service and relationship-building skills.
* Strategic thinking capabilities.
* Industry knowledge in Manufacturing or Engineering sectors.
* Understanding of various industrial sectors, machinery providers, and blue-chip companies.
* Collaborative, enthusiastic, and friendly demeanor.
