Family Solicitor/CILEX
Location: Kendal Office (with flexible/hybrid working options)
Contract: Permanent – Full-time or Part-time considered

A well-regarded and friendly Family Law team is seeking a Family Solicitor to join in delivering high-quality, client-focused legal services. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a supportive environment that values professional development, flexibility and individual contributions.
The Family Solicitor will provide a professional, responsive service to clients, ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards. They will also contribute to promoting the firm’s reputation for excellence and client care.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage a varied caseload including divorce, financial remedy and private law children matters
* Deliver clear and empathetic legal advice during emotionally challenging times
* Represent clients in negotiations and, when required, court proceedings
* Work collaboratively with colleagues and liaise with external professionals
* Maintain commercial awareness through accurate time recording, timely billing and effective credit control
* Support departmental growth through business development and client engagement
* Ensure accurate record-keeping and full regulatory compliance
What we are looking for:
* Minimum of 2 years’ PQE/experience in family law, with a strong focus on divorce and finance
* Excellent client care skills with a sensitive and professional approach
* Confident in independently managing a caseload
* Willing to travel to other offices or attend client meetings when needed
* Resolution membership or currently working towards it (desirable but not essential)
