Reporting to the Production Manager this role will lead and manage all Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) activities within the factory, ensuring compliance with legal requirements, promoting a strong safety culture, and supporting safe, efficient production operations.

What You’ll Be Doing
The role involves overseeing and continuously improving HSE practices across the organization. This includes developing and maintaining policies in line with legal requirements, conducting risk assessments, and leading incident investigations to prevent recurrence. The position ensures compliance with relevant legislation, stays updated on regulatory changes, and coordinates with external auditors. It also focuses on delivering training, promoting a strong safety culture, and supporting employee onboarding. Regular audits and inspections are carried out to maintain standards, with findings tracked to completion. The role requires accurate reporting and analysis of HSE data to drive improvements, while working closely with production teams to embed safe systems of work. Success is measured through key performance indicators such as reduced incidents, audit results, training completion, environmental performance, and timely resolution of corrective actions.
