We are looking for an IT Solutions Apprentice to join the Team at Thermatic.
As an IT Solutions Apprentice, you will play a key role in supporting both the IT and operations teams. You will assist with general IT support, help develop and manage Power BI reporting solutions, contribute to our data management processes, and support the development of automation and AI-driven initiatives. This is an exciting opportunity to develop a broad range of IT skills within a dynamic and supportive environment.
About Thermatic Technical FM:
We provide full UK coverage across Hard FM services to large commercial clients. Our mobile engineers are supported by account teams at our Head Office, delivering reactive and planned maintenance, as well as project installations.

Hours & Location of Work:
* Location: Salford, Manchester (Head Office)
* Regular hours of work - Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm - 40 hour working week.
As an apprentice, you'll be required to attend classroom days which will meet your "off-the-job" hours requirements.
Responsibilities Include:
* Provide day-to-day IT support to end-users across the business.
* Act as a deputy to the IT Manager, including covering in their absence.
* Assist in the development and maintenance of Power BI dashboards and reports to support business decision-making.
* Support data collection, analysis, cleansing, and reporting to ensure high data quality and accuracy.
* Collaborate with operations teams to identify and implement automation opportunities using tools such as Microsoft Power Platform (Power Automate, PowerApps).
* Contribute to the deployment and integration of AI tools and technologies to improve business efficiency.
* Support the IT Manager in maintaining hardware, software, and network infrastructure.
* Assist with onboarding/offboarding processes and IT asset management.
Experience & Qualifications:
* Passion for IT, data, and technology.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Interest in Power BI, automation, and AI technologies.
* Knowledge of Microsoft 365 tools and services.
* Good communication and teamwork skills.
* Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
Desirable (but not essential):
* Some exposure to Power BI, Excel, or SQL.
* Experience with automation tools such as Power Automate or scripting.
* Previous IT support experience or an IT-related qualification.
