Overview
East of England Community Health and Care NHS Trust provides Integrated Contraception & Sexual Health (iCaSH) across Bedford, Cambridgeshire, Milton Keynes, Norfolk and Peterborough. The Norfolk service is community based with three main clinics in Norwich, Great Yarmouth and Kings Lynn, providing contraception, sexual health and HIV care and treatment. The successful candidate will join a team of friendly, highly skilled and experienced medical, nursing and allied health professionals, supported by clinic assistants and administrative staff, at our King's Lynn Clinic. You may also work with teams in Norwich and Great Yarmouth and must be prepared to travel.
Responsibilities
* Join a team delivering contraception, sexual health and related care at the King\'s Lynn Clinic, with collaboration across Norwich and Great Yarmouth teams. Travel to cover clinics as required.
* Work pattern: Monday to Friday, including evenings until 20:00.
Qualifications and requirements
* Registered Nurse or Midwife with a strong team-working ethic.
* Extensive knowledge and experience of contraception services and method provision.
* Competency in LARC procedures (implant fitting and removal) would be advantageous; willingness to undertake training if not held.
* Patient-centred care approach; excellent team player with the ability to work independently and with a diverse range of clients in an innovative sexual health setting.
