Job role: Interior Plant Maintenance Technician
Reporting to: Maintenance Team Leader
Location: Field Based - London
Salary: Full time -£27,000-£29,000 p/a
Working hours: Full time (7.00 - 4.00pm, with 30mins of breaks)
Your Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen to become our newest Interior Landscape technician, working on the cutting edge of the most vibrant and prestigious workplaces in the City of London. In this role, you'll be the face of our business, maintaining our planting schemes and living walls to the highest standard and taking full responsibility for our clients' satisfaction and perception of our products and services.
You will need to be capable of working in a fast-paced environment, being able to change and adapt to our customers' needs. The role also requires a forward-thinker who can anticipate a problem before it happens and seamlessly plan to resolve it.
We're looking for a candidate with a drive to succeed attitude to continually improve customer satisfaction, maximise customer retention and increase profitability.
Your performance will be measured against agreed KPI targets.
Key Responsibilities
Perform routine plant maintenance, including watering, pruning, feeding, cleaning, and pest control.
Monitor plant health and identify early signs of issues such as disease, pests, or environmental stress.
Replace plants that are failing or not meeting visual standards, following company guidelines.
Maintain accurate records of plant condition and maintenance visits.
Communicate professionally with clients and report any issues or recommendations.
Ensure displays meet the company's high standards for presentation and quality.
Transport plants, tools, and materials safely between client sites.
Follow health and safety procedures at all times, especially when working in commercial environments.
Reporting any issues that may arise when on client sites, including but not exclusively, incomplete work, access restrictions and plant replacements that have not been fulfilled due to a lack of stock.
Working to the standards and principles set out in the Maintenance Standards Manual
Fully understand and embody the company values at all times
Skills & Qualifications
Required:
Experience in plant care, horticulture, or interior landscaping (professional or personal).
Strong knowledge of common indoor plant species and their care requirements.
Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and follow a route schedule.
Good physical fitness - able to lift moderate loads and be on your feet for extended periods.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Preferred:
Horticulture qualification (e.g., RHS Level 2 or equivalent).
Previous experience in a similar plant maintenance or interiorscape role.
Experience working in office or commercial environments.
Full UK driving licence
