Level 2 Food & Beverage Team Member Apprenticeship at Castle Hall Academy
We’re looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our team as a Hospitality Team Member Apprentice. This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced hospitality environment while working towards a recognised qualification.
Responsibilities
* To perform kitchen and cleaning duties in accordance with the School’s Health and Safety policy, COSHH regulations and all statutory health and safety requirements.
* To prepare basic food items within agreed cooking methods, portion controls and as required. To maintain highest levels of cleanliness and hygiene within the kitchen and the dining area and ensure that cleaning schedule is completed on a daily basis.
* To assist in the production and service of special events as required.
* To serve staff, pupils and visitors at service time to the required standard
* To check in and store deliveries in accordance with due diligence procedures.
* To undertake such other work as requested up to or at a level consistent with the principal duties and responsibilities of the role
Essential Qualifications
* GCSEs in English and Maths at grades 4–9 (A*–C) desirable

Training and Qualification
The successful candidate will obtain a Level 2 Food & Beverage Team Member Apprenticeship standard qualification. You will be assigned a designated Vocational Trainer. Alongside this, you will agree on a personal learning and development plan, setting a timetable of learning activities in preparation for the End Point Assessment (EPA). The Vocational Trainer will meet with the apprentice regularly either online or face to face to complete and review assessments, provide further coaching where required and agree the next steps of learning.
